BitMake’s Lite Futures products stands as an incredibly user-friendly financial derivative product, perfect for beginners with its intuitive interface that bridges the gap between futures and spot trading. Its user-friendliness and swift operation have positioned it as a primary choice for traders across the market.
Step 1: Selecting Lite Futures Coin Pairs
Accessing the Lite Futures trading page can be done via two ways:
Method 1: Click the ‘Trade’ button on the homepage, choose Lite Futures, and access the trading page. Tap the small icon (as shown in Figure 2 below) to explore the Lite Futures search page and select your desired coin pair.
Method 2: Alternatively, click on ‘Markets,’ opt for Lite Futures, and directly choose your desired pair from the Lite Futures list.
Step 2: Start Trading
Lite Futures adopts a quote-based trading method for simplicity and ease. Users input their desired quantity, and the system automatically provides transaction prices and costs. Upon confirmation, transactions are executed swiftly and accurately, mimicking a convenient shopping experience while minimizing operational risks.
1. If your trading account holds USDT, it can be directly used as margin. For accounts lacking USDT or insufficient USDT as margin for desired trading volumes, utilize the lending button to mortgage other currencies, converting them into USDT for margin. Various currencies correspond to different margin ratios.
2. Confirming sufficient margin, select your preferred leverage multiplier, input the quantity for trade (referring to maximum buy/sell limits), select your transaction direction, and tap ‘Get Quote’ (if using lending, your transaction confirmation page will display the borrowed amount for this trade). On the confirmation page, review your order direction, cost, and transaction quantity. Finally, click ‘Buy/Long’ or ‘Sell/Short’ to confirm the transaction.
Please Note: Quotes refresh every 6 seconds, ensuring your transaction price aligns with the latest market price.
Step 3: Position Management
Lite Futures operate using an isolated position model, separating position risk entirely from other trading products. Even if a liquidation occurs in the trading account, it won’t impact Lite Futures’ positions, assisting users in superior risk management.
We offer two position management methods — simultaneously displaying various Lite Futures positions or separately on respective currency trading pages. Adjust according to your preference on the Lite Futures trading page by clicking the toggle switch.
Please Note: Enabling the display all positions feature simplifies position management but may result in manual operation errors or incorrect position selections. Configure based on your habits.
2. Additional Margin
As Lite Futures operate with isolated positions, you can add margin based on market conditions. Access the margin management page by clicking the position management page below. Tap the small icon shown in Figure 2 to add margin.
Please Note: If you dont hold USDT but need to use other currencies as margin, click ‘Lending’ on the additional margin page to utilize other currencies as additional margin assets.
3. Setting Take Profit and Stop Loss
Set take profit and stop-loss preferences or choose either one. Refer to the figure below for details.
Step 4: Closing Positions
Congratulations! If the market price aligns with your anticipated position, you can close positions using two methods for ease of operation.
Method 1: Partial Closure
On the futures trading page where you wish to close a position, click the closure icon, input the desired quantity for closure, or adjust the slider to the desired closing proportion. Click ‘Get Quote’ to execute partial closure (when the entered quantity is the maximum closing quantity or the slider is at maximum, you can close the entire position).
Please Note: During partial closure, the closure button location varies for long and short positions.
Method 2: Close All Positions
In the position management page, click on the position you wish to close, view the current holdings page for closure — applicable for closing all positions.
After closure, access the trading record page by tapping the icon below to review historical orders and cash flow.
Lite Futures’ versatile features make it an ideal financial tool, appealing not only to beginners but also catering to the demands of seasoned traders.
